A de la Fe
Certified Instructor of Klein Technique™, London, England, UK

A is a Spanish choreographer and performer based in London with a background in physiotherapy. After coming relatively late to dance, initially in Madrid, they moved to London and completed an MA in performance at The London Contemporary Dance School (The Place) in 2010.
 
In 2011, they met Susan Klein while taking an Intensive Workshop in Klein Technique™at Movingeast in London. Since then they have consistently and steadily studied with Susan whenever she is in Europe, taking many intensive workshops in Klein Technique™.In 2016, they joined the 4th Klein Technique™ Teacher Certification Program.
 
A was a recipient of the 2015 BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship, with support from Independence Dance. During the fellowship, they researched and developed their Unrehearsed Seriesin collaboration with producer Martine Painter, dramaturge Mary Ann Hushlak and mentors Rosemary Lee, Graeme Miller and Nikki Tomlinson.
 
They are a member of Chisenhale Dance Space, where they run OPENLAB: a space for shared practice forperformers, between 2012 and early 2020. They were also a member of BELLYFLOP Mag and in 2015 they were named Associate Artist at Queen Mary University of London. They are a member of the collective anthologyofamess with who he has developed both choreographic environments and performance works using Instant Composition as a model.
 
A is a freelance performer and they have danced for UK-based choreographers such as Simone Mousset, Florence Peake, Matthias Sperling, Eva Recacha and Jonathan Lunn. Their choreographed works include 2011 Place Prize finalist Cameo, their experimental an open OPENLAB: a hybrid, and their most recent Unrehearsed Series, including CROCODILE, CRY and Make Me Cool.
